Smart Passenger Center: Real-Time Optimization of Urban Public Transport

This paper introduces the Smart Passenger Center (SPaCe), MerMec's solution for real-time optimization of urban public transport. The proposed system, based on cutting-edge artificial intelligence technologies, provides vehicle status information and passenger activity monitoring. All acquired from vehicles is used to optimize performance fleet traffic management.The purpose explain reasons benefits such Intelligent Transport System (ITS) with a deep understanding its architecture advanced functionalities.Additionally, practical application data collected by SPaCe task bus timetable optimization.The goal schedule trips in way that maximizes multiple conflicting goals as service quality operating costs, real time data.The reported results show how developed system can support decision-making process balance interests between passengers transport agencies.
